Rosie Purvis is now the 2013/2014 VA Division Women’s Epee Champion! At the Division Championships she defeated teammate and last seasons Champion, Emily Lien, in the finals to claim the crown. Sarah Simmons also made the semifinals and bringing home a bronze, going out to teammate Emily Lien 14/15. Congrats to our new Division Champion and to our wonderful Womens Epee Squad. Among them they have the Team and Division Championships for the season! Way to go ladies, you make us very proud.
Mission
Charlottesville Fencing Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the residents throughout Central Virginia about the sport of fencing, developing educational programs that serve both adults and our youth, schools, home school communities and the under-privileged, as well fostering the widespread growth of fencing. Our programs reach both recreational and competitive fencers and coaches in all three weapons – foil, epee and saber.Contact
